Dear NATURE

I received many gifts of natures beauty in Iceland. The scenes felt like Bob Ross paintings and the animals were wise and warm.

Icelandic horses are very welcoming and curious but the sheep are sheepish.

These sheep seem to travel anywhere they want.

I don’t eat their lamb children but wearing their wool sweaters seemed to be okay…I think.

Mindy decided to go to Iceland for her big 40th B day. She did it all and even ate the famous hot dogs.

This was taken at the glacier lagoon in Southern Iceland. Icebergs are formed by breaking off from the giant glacier. 90% is underwater so we only see 10%. Kinda like people.

Kerid Crater is what happens when a volcano blasts out all the lava and caves in on itself. Or it’s a UFO landing pad?

There’s many horses to admire all over the country. I liked the ones with blond bangs.

They are warm and friendly to the touch.

Sitting in hot tubs and looking for the northern lights is a nice way to relax after petting horses.

Geomagnetic stormsĀ are classified G1 (minor) through G5 (extreme). This is a G1 aurora.

Coming home was difficult. They call it post Icelandic depression.
